1. Arland D. Williams - Gives rescue buoy many times to strangers

In a snow storm, a domestic plane Air Florida Flight 90 had an accident and fell into a frozen river. This accident, caused all the passangers died except 6 passangers. 20 minutes later, a helicopter arrived to rescue 6 of this casualty.

Among the six victims somebody named Arland D. Williams. Knowing though he saved, he will not last long because the body is already very weak

When the helicopter threw a buoy, he continually gives the buoy to the other victims, she did it continuously up to the time the helicopter returned for the last time, Arland was dead. This shows that in this day and age, there are still those who dare to sacrifice his life to save a stranger.

2. Oleg Ivanovich Okhrimenko - Holding the Grenade blast with His body.

Oleg Ivanovich Okhrimenko is a senior officer, he was awarded the title "Hero of the Russian Federation" for an awesome heroic action. 

One day, Oleg and his team may have to face criminal called 'criminally insane', equipped with a pistol and a grenade and a woman hostage.

When the criminal got past the police barricades, Russian Special Forces team trying to disarm immediately. Aware of the dangers that come, the criminals threw a grenade that he had. Oleg who realize the dangers, jumping straight to the top of the grenade and befall it with his body. By his actions he saved members of his team, the people around and also a woman hostage

3. Dr. Liviu Librescu - Hold 5 shots to save his students

A teenager who suffered a mental disorder named Seung-Hui Cho suddenly shooting people around him.

A professor at Virginia Tech realize that this teenager would endanger all the people in his class. 

Dr. Liviu then closed the classroom door using his body. He successfully stop Cho into the classroom, but he had received 5 shots into his body, one on his head. In the end, all but one person in the class survived to escape through the window when Liviu hold the crazy teenager at the door.

4. Muelmar Magallanes - Saving a dozen people until floods swept him away.

In 2009, the major flood happened in Philippines. At that time, there was a 18-year-olds, Muelmar Magallanes.

Then, he tied a rope around his waist and rescue dozens of people. But he was swept away because he was too tired.

This starts with saving his family and his neighbors. At the end of his rescue, he saw a mother and her son were swept away, he immediately went back into the stream and saving the mother and the child. Being too tired, he can not go against the flow and he died drifting.

5. Three men sacrificed his life to save his girlfriend from the crazy villain

Actually, this story is very well known in 2012 with the name "Aurora Shooting" or "Aurora Dark Knight Rises Shooting". The name of these guy is Jon Blunk, Matt McQuinn and Alex Teves.

There are lovers who were watching the movie "The Dark Knight Rises" at the Aurora Cinema, suddenly a crazy man named James Holmes shot in the cinema. three men from these couples directly instinctively protect their lovers with their own bodies.  This makes their lovers survived by sacrificing their own lives.
